E.U. blends the simple, utilitarian beauty of gastropubs with the service-driven design language of the traditional English-manor kitchen. Like gastropubs born of limited resources, E.U. features a curated selection of salvaged items, such as the mismatched dining chairs that received a much-needed makeover. The restaurant cheekily turns the manor kitchen inside out, displaying plate racks and a Toledo scale in the dining room, where a monolithic bar and garde manger acts as an open gateway to the kitchen, bringing its hustle and bustle to the dining experience.
