Latin for “to bathe or cleanse,” LAVO was inspired by the bathhouses of ancient Mediterranean culture. Located in the Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, LAVO combines a lounge and a nightclub with a restaurant that has a 180-seat dining room, plus 100 patio seats overlooking the famed Las Vegas Strip. Custom chandeliers set against worn-tile and water-stained-plaster walls define the lounge. In the main dining area, a glass-and-wood-screen bridge flanked by Turkish water basins leads to the second floor nightclub and forms a perch where guests can observe the action below. Vaulted arches, a domed dance floor, and mirrored niches lend the  nightclub decadent character.
