The Hurricane Club and its adjacent after-hours lounge, Riff Raff’s, draw in equal parts from 1950s Polynesian-cocktail culture and Rat Pack hangouts. The supper-club design features whimsical symbols of the South Pacific—waiters in white-linen jackets, faux-alligator banquettes, and bone-and-barnacle chandeliers—balanced by sophisticated touches, such as a rectangular chandelier with hundreds of cascading crystal strands above the bar and floors covered in black-and-white herringbone and milled butternut.
