Little Palm Island is an adults-only resort located on a 5 acre key, off the coast of Little Torch Key in Southwest Florida. Its unique surroundings make for an intimate, memorable guest experience. Little Palm is never occupied by more than 60 guests, providing the utmost privacy for all. Little Palm also delivers an ultra-luxury experience – the 30 suites are luxurious thatched-roof bungalows, the dining is world-class, and everything needed for the visit can be found right on the island. Inspired by the romance of travel in days gone by, and the textures of this remarkable setting, the design is imbued with furniture, art, accessories and eclectic touches that bring a romantic air of nostalgia and relaxation across the resort.

At One With The Island

All of the different guest cottages offer tranquil sanctuaries connected to the water and nature of the island. The rooms feature canopy beds, enveloped in white sheer drapery below a soft, feature bamboo ceiling. Large windows connect onto outdoor decks which envelop the front and side of the space allowing plenty of natural light and allowing the inside out.

The spaces are furnished with soft seating and floor lamps which all feature rattan detailing echoing the bamboo ceiling. Vintage rugs, aged brass accessories, game tables, dining chairs, mini bars, and lighting all recall the Truman Era aesthetic. Large, bright bathrooms sit adjacent to the bedroom. A stone vanity for two is central to the space and is flanked by two wood pantries which have open mesh caning and brass handles featured on each door.

The Monkey Hut

This is a large scale Tiki structure that houses a piano lounge bar with working fireplace. The sides are open and a thatched roof provides cover. The room is furnished with comfortable lounge groupings that also allow for dining. The seating is inspired vaguely by campaign furniture and familiar furnishings of the colonial past. A custom chandelier as well as custom lanterns provide ambiance. On one side of the room, the bar acts as a “kiosk” that can be accessed from four sides - the restaurant as well as the Monkey Hut.

The Shore Station

The guests first enter this building on shore, before boarding the boat over to Little Palm. It is a small, standalone building, a single room with an adjacent bathroom. Guests are welcomed at the bar with a signature cocktail and are checked in here. It is a lounge style check-in set within living room seating, tiled walls, a large custom chandelier and tropical wallcovering.

The spa building wraps an interior, open-air courtyard - the Atrium. Central to this space is an antique limestone reflective pool with seating flanking it. The exposed wood structure is offset with intricately detailed wood designs in both the columns and brackets. Flowing drapery frames out the openings, creating a dreamy ambiance. Similar to the pool deck, furnishings are inspired by Indian colonial furniture to add a touch of the exotic beyond the tropical. Lanterns throughout the area provide beautiful ambiance in the evenings.

The small, thatched roof structure is styled with found, sunken treasures of the sea, memorabilia and natural elements of the region. From here guests are taken on a classic speedboat boat to the island. The room is representative of the eclectic style they will find once on the island.

Exotic Beyond The Tropical

Teal tiles wrap the walls, framing out bespoke millwork and custom lighting. The massage rooms connect to a private outdoor terrace with shower, tub and relaxation seating.

An eclectic and elevated Bohemian vibe imbues the whole resort, from custom lighting design, to found vintage fixtures and artwork depicting the region's flora and fauna.
