About
This Japanese American bistro transports guests to a modern articulation of a traditional Japanese home through large architectural movements expressed through the repetition of rectilinear forms, decorative screen work, and the use of dark, heavy woods.
Inspired by a 1950s Japanese supper club run by “Madam Geisha,” the design takes on a maximalist sensibility with a variety of patterns and textures throughout the space including era-inspired fixtures and furnishings, luxurious velvets, floral fabrics, traditional geisha patterns, textiles, and accessories that all come together embracing a space that is decidedly dense and rich. The restaurant features an expansive dining room and lush outdoor patio with an open hearth and bespoke cocktail bar.

Inspired by Fire
From lighting to food
Harnessing the element of fire, from ember-like ambient ceiling fixtures and sconces to a blazing neon snake, the intentional use of lighting reflects the restaurant's central fire-roasting theme.
Open Gallery
The open-flame kitchen and its mouth-watering dishes.
Geisha Garb
The main dining room is layered with brass mesh, jewelry-like screens, and floral prints throughout that give a nod to geisha garb.
